Public Transport
The 18 - 46th Avenue MUNI line goes directly to the Legion of Honor. It runs along 46th Avenue between the Legion of Honor and San Francisco State. You can transfer onto the 18 line from the N-Judah, 5 Fulton, and 38-Geary (the most direct route from downtown). From the Transbay Terminal, or the Montgomery/Powell Street BART Stations it is an easy transfer to the 38-Geary bus.
By Car
From North
Cross the Golden Gate Bridge heading south. Take the 19th Street exit (immediate). Take Park Presidio (14th/19th) south to California Street. Turn right (west) on California Street. Take California Street all the way to Lincoln Park. At 25th through 31st turn left (south) and go one block south to Clement Street. Turn right (west) on Clement Street. Take Clement Street to 34th Avenue. Turn right (north) on 34th Avenue. Go up hill and park.
From South
Take Nineteenth Avenue north into Golden Gate Park. Stay left after crossing Lincoln Avenue. Turn left onto 25th Avenue. Take 25th north to Clement Street. Turn left (west) on Clement Street. Take Clement Street to 34th Avenue. Turn right (north) on 34th. Go up hill and park.
From East
Get on California Street going west. Take California Street all the way to Lincoln Park. At 25th through 31st turn left (south) and go one block south to Clement Street. Turn right (west) on Clement Street. Take Clement Street to 34th Avenue. Turn right (north) on 34th Avenue. Go up hill and park.
