Making a Gift of Securities
Making a gift of securities is an excellent way to give to San Francisco Performances. By giving securities directly to San Francisco Performances, you may avoid capital gains taxes on the stock's increased value, and your charitable tax deduction may equal the full value of the securities at the time of donation - a double tax benefit.
